The World Cultural Center Hosts Poet Peggy Trojan

Peggy Trojan is a member of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets.

She published her first poem in 2010 when she was 77, and has published 230 poems since. She has been published in a wide variety of journals and anthologies.

Peggy's chapbooks have received some of the following honorifics and publishing credits:

  • "Everyday love" placed second in the Wisconsin fellowship of poets contest in 2015.
  • "Homefront: Childhood Memories of WWII", was published by Evening Street Press, and a full collection, Essence, by Portage Press.
  • "Free Range Kids" won the Helen Kay Chapbook Prize in 2018. She will share poems from her new release, All That Matters: Collected Poems 2010-2018
